This week’s challenge is UNUSUAL.  The above photos were taken last August during our summer vacation trip back home to Texas. This closed Monolithic Dome stands on the corner of I-35 and Highway 34 in Italy, Texas.  It used to be a restaurant and family entertainment center.  I’ve always thought this was one of the more unusual things that you see off this highway in central Texas (and there are several others, believe me!).  Too bad it is no longer in operation.  It is for sale or lease, so there is hope that it will be back in action soon!  Hope you enjoy the photos!
