I’m only filling out and submitting one bracket this year. Usually I submit my bracket (the same one) to a bunch of different sites trying in vain to win all kinds of prizes. This year I’ve decided to just stick with the friendly competition between family (my wife), friends, and church people. We’ll see how it goes. I filled this bracket out on Monday and I’m sticking with it.
I’m going with Michigan State to win it all because of Coach Tom Izzo, senior All-American forward Draymond Green, and because they are a talented and complete team. I believe Kentucky and North Carolina are the two most physically talented/skilled teams in the tournament, but both tend to have lapses in their play. Michigan State will make Kentucky pay for their lapses in their national semifinal game, while Kansas, with lowered expectations this year, will do the same to North Carolina in their Elite Eight game. I like Michigan State to end the magical post-season run of Florida State in a thrilling final!
I’m sure this will make my friend Tom very happy!
