Kindergarten Orientation

1

April 28, 2012 by Stephen

Last Thursday my wife accompanied our youngest daughter Ainsley to the school for Kindergarten orientation.  This was our third and final Kindergarten orientation.  Our baby will be in school this September!  Don’t get me wrong, she’s ready.  She loved meeting the teacher aides, seeing the classrooms, and riding on the school bus.  We’re ready, too (most of the time).  It’s just that this moment marks the end of one era in our family (stay-at-home kids) and the beginning of another (school kids), and that is a little sad.  In September, we will have a happy Kindergartner.  We’ll probably shed a tear or two, but she will have proud parents!

Yes, you will shed a tear of joy… It is a major step and a great memory… 🙂
