Travel Theme: Summer
9May 19, 2012 by Stephen
Ailsa over at Where’s my backpack? has a new challenge for us:
Last week’s impromptu ‘Reflections‘ challenge was so much fun, could we do it again? There are many other photo challenges out there, but how about one with a travel theme? I love finding out about great places waiting to be discovered, and it doesn’t have to be an exotic location, either. What’s everyday in your part of the world is exotic to someone who doesn’t live there.
The challenge is, “What does summer mean to you?” Summer means no school, so more family time. More family time means family vacations. Here are a few pictures of some of our favorite family vacation spots in Pennsylvania. Pictured below are scenes from Dutch Wonderland, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, the Strasburg Rail Road, and Hershey’s Chocolate World (all from summer 2010).
Lovely pictures and memories. 😉
Thanks!
Summers look like a lot of fun in Pennsylvania. The joy in that second photo is infectious, you can’t help smiling 🙂
You’re right about that!
I always love to see pictures of children who are excited, nice foto collection @Stephen 😀
FUN FUN FUN! Looks like a lot of summer fun. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Looks like a great time was had by all – great response on the theme!
Just set a new travel theme challenge http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/05/25/street-markets/ I’d love you to join in, if you have the time! Pass it on, everyone’s welcome 🙂 xxx Ailsa
